A new room for two growing little girls. This design assignment was packed with fun and function. The parents wanted a room that would grow with the girls, fit within the aesthic of the house, and house all of the clothes, bows and stuffed animals. We also had to focus on the little clients and what they envisioned in their room. The walls were painted a neutral gray, but we packed on the fun by adding gold polka dots to two focal walls. We also DIYed matching, vintage, handmade beds with storage underneath. We renovated their dollhouse, added some storage pieces, hung pink pom-pom curtains and made the bed with coordinating comforters and pillows. The girls favorite spot is a hidden nook under each bed complete with beanbags, blankets and a lamp. The end result is a beautiful room filled with storage, but most importantly the little ladies LOVED their new space.
