River Oaks Bathroom

Our clients were new to Oklahoma City and purchased a gorgeous custom built house. However, the one room that really lacked in luxury was the master bathroom. It featured dark brown oak cabinetry, a very large medicine cabinet/mirror situation, an outdated travertine tile shower and carpet on the floor.

We were hired to design and renovate the space. The client wanted a bright, modern luxurious master bathroom. We installed heated marble tile floors, a new shower and tub surround, painted the cabinetry and walls, new quartz countertops, hardware, mirrors and lighting.

Stoneside Cottage Kitchen

This kitchen went from dark and rustic to modern and bright with lots of effort and minimal expense. This project is an investment property so we used the bones of the kitchen (cabinets, countertop, sink, faucet, and some appliances). And for under $1,000 we completely transformed the space with wall paint, new tile floors, black stained cabinets, new backsplash, removing the upper cabinets on one side and adding open shelving.

Stoneside Cottage Bathroom

The goal with this bathroom was to bring it into the 21st century while still maintaining the retro feel that is true to the 1940’s home. Also, because it is an investment property keeping it budget friendly was a key factor.  The room was updated with paint, a black and white hexagon tile, white Euro style vanity, modern mirror, vintage inspired bubble lights and new accessories.

The Nest Kitchen

A new modern kitchen for a modern family. The renovation began by removing everything, including the pink tile and 1970’s appliances. The design plan drastically improved the aesthetic and the functionality by installing ceiling height cabinets and floating shelves. Additional improvements include: new flooring, a multi-function custom built table that can be used as a table or an island, new appliances, classic white subway tile backsplash, lighting, floor to ceiling pantry cabinet, granite countertops, modern one basin sink, faucet and hardware.

The Nest Living Room

The challenge with this space was to create a beautiful, modern space that was fully functional for a busy, growing family. The original living room had a mix of styles, out-dated materials and a dark fireplace. The end result is the perfect mix of beautiful pieces that function well. The updates include: new wall color, painting the fireplace and built-in bookcases white, a custom mantle, new wood flooring, a large area rug, custom made picture ledge to display art, modern furniture and a plethora of pillows to invite people in.

Summit Park Project

This project transformed a dark, uninviting living room into a light, airy space with a modern farmhouse feel. In the dining room the client had a custom dining room table and a family heirloom hutch that we wanted to highlight. We added a fresh coat of paint, modern lights and budget friendly decor to complete the design. The living room serves as a gathering place, homework spot and a reading nook so we increased the functionality by adding a rug, new seating, a desk. The addition of 12 foot custom curtains, window art and plants increases the warmth of the space. Click the picture to see all the before and after pictures.

Goldilocks Project

A new room for two growing little girls. This design assignment was packed with fun and function. The parents wanted a room that would grow with the girls, fit within the aesthic of the house, and house all of the clothes, bows and stuffed animals. We also had to focus on the little clients and what they envisioned in their room. The walls were painted a neutral gray, but we packed on the fun by adding gold polka dots to two focal walls. We also DIYed matching, vintage, handmade beds with storage underneath. We renovated their dollhouse, added some storage pieces, hung pink pom-pom curtains and made the bed with coordinating comforters and pillows. The girls favorite spot is a hidden nook under each bed complete with beanbags, blankets and a lamp. The end result is a beautiful room filled with storage, but most importantly the little ladies LOVED their new space. Click the picture to see all the before and after photos.
